Toontastic 3D lets kids create their own animated stories. The app does not require any registration, and children simply need to tap the plus sign to start a short, classic or Science Story. Each animation is then split into “parts”- setup, conflict, challenge, climax and resolution- to help them build a well-roundes tale.
kids get to pick a setting (spy lab, pirate cove, underwater world, camp site, outer space…)and characters (animals, pilots, astronauts, robots, mermaids…) that they might want to include in each part. And they also get the option to draw their own backdrop and characters.
Animating a story involves tapping the record button to start shooting and moving the characters around. The app records all the action and even add music before saving their final version. Toontastic 3D Works offline, does not display any ads and is free of in-app purchases.
