Almost everyone has faced situations where their device ran out of battery right in the middle of a call. And them, there might have been times when your phone ran out of juice, with no charging point in sight while there were people frantically trying to get in touch with you.
Last Message is an app that makes sure that your friends and family are informed- via a message, email, Facebook and Twitter- when your cell phone runs out of battery. While the app may not have a very appealing user interface, it is simple to use and gets the job done.
Once you have it installed, you can specify the battery level that you consider low and add the number, email addresses, IDs of Facebook and Twitter friends to whom you would like to send a ‘low batter’ message. When the battery charge dips below your specified level, the app sends a message informing them all that you won’t be available to take calls.
