PixMeAway is a picture-based search and recommendation engine for planning a holiday in your steps.
Step 1 Is pictures. Where you’re shown photos, out of which you have to pick and rank three to seven of them.
Step.2 Is travel Type that displays a few user profiles based on your selected pictures. For example, there’s Archie the open –minded sportive traveller or Olivia the educational tourist. Each profile has links, dislikes and a short description of preferred activities. Remove the ones you don’t identify with to move to step 3,
Step.3 Travel Preferences. Choose the destination continent and preferences among four categories: “Interested in” (nightlife, shopping, tourism, etc), Location (seaside, city, countryside), traveling (single, family, friends) and Climate (warm, cold, spring). Then the final step shows you recommendations ranked according to your choices.
