Serial Reader delivers bite-sized portions of classic books for you to read daily to make them less intimidating. The app lets you choose from over 300 free titles such as The Wind in the Willows, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and authors including Agatha Chrisite, Anton Chekov, Charles Dickens, H G wells, Leo Tolstoy and victor Hugo.
The titles can be browsed by keyword, “most popular” and by genre such as adventure, biography, gothic, fantasy, humour, and more. when you “subscribe” to a book, serial Reader sends one “issue” from the title every day. These snippets require just 20 minutes of your free time.
you can subscribe to as many books as you like. The app display unread issues, your overall reading start and lets you change the display’s background colour, font, as well as its size and spacing. it even lets you select text, view its meaning and look up Wikipedia for further reference.
