Serengeti National Park, One of the most famous animal reserves in Africa, has hundreds of camera traps, which provide photos of some of the most elusive wildlife species. But someone needs to identify the animals in all these images. That’s where you come in.
Register at Snapshot Serengeti, and you will get a continuous stream of pictures, clicked by those cameras in the wild. To identify the species, you can use a set of filters, such as marks on the animal’s body, type of horns, or tail, etc. Once you narrow it down, select the option that best fits what’s in the shot, and what they are doing. That’s it! you just helped scientists keep track of wildlife and also learnt more about animal behavior while helping in the conservation process.
